ENMU Presenting Free Jazz Concert

PORTALES--The Department of Music at Eastern New Mexico University will
present a free jazz concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 16 in Buchanan
Hall of the Music Building.

The concert will feature the University Jazz Ensemble and the High Winds
Jazztet, a newly-formed quartet consisting of Travis Erwin-guitar/vocals;
Chris Beaty, saxophone/flute and instructor of music; Jim Constantopolos,
bass and associate professor of geology; and Neil Rutland, drums and
instructor of music.

The concert will feature pieces by Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, George
Gershwin, and Bob Mintzer.
