PORTALES--Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) is announcing plans to offer
the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program online. According to
Dr. Gerry Huybregts, dean of the ENMU College of Business, offering the ENMU
MBA online is a natural progression for the ENMU program.

Currently, ENMU offers the MBA through an instructional television system
(ITV) that broadcasts classes to Cannon AFB, Clovis, Hobbs, Roswell, and
Ruidoso. Additionally, ENMU will deliver MBA classes to Carlsbad using
video conferencing starting January 2004.

The combined strength of the ENMU MBA with the ability to deliver the degree
online provides students throughout New Mexico with the flexibility to
complete their graduate business education without traveling to campus,
according to Huybregts.

Dr Lee Weyant, ENMU MBA coordinator, said, "The ENMU MBA Online program
continues the ENMU tradition of providing high quality graduate education at
an affordable tuition for those individuals who desire classes on a
part-time basis."

According to Dr Weyant, ENMU will offer Organizational Behavior and
International Marketing during the spring semester. Students interested in
registering for these classes should complete registration by Jan. 9, 2004.
Classes will begin Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004.
