ENMU Video Airing on Amarillo TV Stations- The 30-minute "Touring Your Future" show, which features Eastern NewMexico University and other educational institutions, will air again inJuly and August on KAMR, KCIT and KCPN TV stations in Amarillo. ENMUalso has a 30-second spot which will air 50 times on the three stations.

Upward Bound Offering Santa Fe Opera Tickets- Eastern New Mexico University's Upward Bound Program has a acquired anumber of Santa Fe Opera tickets for the July 9, 2005, performance of"Turnadot." They are hoping that your generosity will help them expandthe balance of their scholarship fund.

Theyhave a limited number of tickets at $19 (face value) and will beaccepting minimum bids of $20 per ticket. They will gladly accept bidsover the recommended amount with all proceeds going directly into ourscholarship fund.

Students Must Be Advised Before Registering— All new students (both freshmen and transfers) and those who have notdeclared a major must make an appointment with the Advising Centerprior to registration at Eastern New Mexico University. Walk-inregistration will be accommodated when possible, but for the students'convenience,   students are encouraged to make an appointment. Allcontinuing undergraduate students must consult an academic advisorprior to registering. For distance education students, this means thatadvising is handled electronically via telephone or e-mail.

Leadership ENMU Sponsoring Scholarship Golf Tournament on August 27— The 2004-05 Leadership ENMU group at Eastern New Mexico University issponsoring a scholarship golf tournament on Saturday, Aug. 27, at theClovis Municipal Golf Course. The entry fee will be $200 perfour-member team, which includes green fees and golf carts. It will bea "scramble" format in which each team member hits their shot from thespot of the player with the best previous shot.

Not Too Late to Write Letters for Cannon— It is not too late for Eastern New Mexico University employees andothers to help keep Cannon Air Force Base by sending hand-addressedletters on personal stationery in personal envelopes to each of thenine BRAC Commissioners explaining how important Cannon is to NewMexico, eastern New Mexico, and Eastern New Mexico University.

Theletters should be personally addressed to each of the nineCommissioners: The Honorable Anthony J. Principi; The Honorable JamesH. Bilbray; The Honorable Philip Coyle; Admiral Harold W. Gehman Jr.;The Honorable James V. Hansen; General James T. Hill; General Lloyd W.Newton; The Honorable Samuel K. Skinner; and Brigadier General Sue E.Turner.

Students May Register Now for Summer and Fall- The second summer term at Eastern New Mexico University begins July5. Currently enrolled students may register now for the summer or fallterms.
