PORTALES—Joyce Eldridge, director ofFinancial Aid at Eastern New Mexico University, is now thepresident-elect of the New Mexico Association of Student Financial AidAdministrators. The association takes nominations once a year and isvoted on by all of its members.
Eldridge, a big Lucille Ball fan, says, "For my colleagues to vote me into this position, I'm truly humbled."
Shewill represent the state as president and a member for the SouthwestAdministrators. This association is made up of financial administratorsfrom New Mexico.
As president, shewill address financial issues, support groups and offer training aroundthe state for financial aid high school counselors.
