PORTALES—The 2005 POPS Dinner Concert will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday,Nov. 12 in the Campus Union Ballroom at Eastern New Mexico Universityin Portales.
Theconcert will feature the University Wind Symphony and the UniversityVocal Ensembles. Numbers will include Stephen Foster's "BeautifulDreamer," "Nelly Bly" and "Some Folks." Other tunes include "SameTrain," "John Saw duh Numbuh" and "Just a Closer Walk with Thee" (a NewOrleans/Gulf Coast tribute).
TheWind Symphony will contribute several pieces that showcase theevening's theme, "Fly Me to the Moon," plus the popular Name That Tunecontest will feature "Hooked on TV Reruns."
