She has an extensive, proven background in working in student affairs, and will be a great asset to our students and staff."
Gamble also expressed his appreciation to Musgrave. "We were very fortunate to have Dr. Musgrave directing Student Affairs since 1999. Under his leadership, Eastern has had a very dynamic and progressive student life. We wish him a very enjoyable retirement."
In accepting the position, Haislett said, "I am very excited about coming to Eastern New Mexico University. The students I met were very warm, welcoming and enjoyable to be around. They showed a strong sense of purpose, and it will be an honor to work with them. Eastern is a top notch university. I couldn't be more pleased to have the opportunity to work at such an excellent institution."
