PORTALES—Eastern New Mexico University’s Runnels Gallery in Golden Library in Portales will present FOOTLONG, a national juried exhibition of art no larger than 12 inches in any direction. The exhibition will run from Oct. 19 to Nov. 15 with an opening reception on Friday, Oct. 19, from 5–7 p.m.
It is free and open to the public.
The 30 artists represented are from across the U.S., with a radius from New York City to Orange, Calif. The artwork ranges from fused glass to fabric to oil paint. Subject matter encompasses traditional portraits to the abstract, including exotic.
Juried by Stephen Fleming, director of the Roswell Artist in Residence Program, a selection of 38 works were selected from over 100 submissions.
