PORTALES—The music department at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales is presenting a world premiere performance of Rene Clausen's "Midnight Ride of Paul Revere," performed by the Choir and Wind Symphony at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 4 in the Campus Union Ballroom.
The features will begin with four short choral selections including A Jubilant Song; O, My Luve's Like a Red Red Rose; Set Me as a Seal, and All that Hath Life and Breath, followed by the premiere performance of "Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” conducted by the composer himself, Dr. Rene Clausen.
The performance includes the 75-voice university singers and 50-member wind symphony, directed by Jason Paulk and Dustin Seifert.
Following the performance there will be a reception hosted by the ENMU Friends of Music.
Admission is free and open to the public.
