PORTALES—The music department at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales is presenting a faculty recital at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8 in Buchanan Hall inside the Music Building.
The recital features Dr. Tamara Raatz, assistant professor of music at Eastern New Mexico University, on the clarinet, Kayla Paulk, vocal coach and accompanist at ENMU, on piano, and Kirsten Yon, assistant professor of violin at Texas Tech University, on violin.
The recital includes Béla Bartok’s “Verbunkos,” “Pihenö” and “Sebes,” and Aram Khachaturian’s “Andante con dolore,” “Con molto espressione,” “Allegro” and “Moderato.”
Admission is free and open to the public.
