PORTALES—The public is invited to the world premiere performance of René Clausen's “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” this Friday, April 4, at 7 p.m. in the Campus Union Ballroom at Eastern New Mexico University. Admission is free.
The composition, written for the ENMU Choirs and Wind Symphony, is approximately 40 minutes long, and will be conducted by Clausen. The first half of the program will feature ENMU Chamber Singers and University Singers performing four of Clausen's short choral works, including "Set Me as a Seal," "A Jubilant Song," "O My Luve's Like a Red, Red Rose," and "All that Hath Life and Breath Praise ye the Lord."
Following the performance, a reception will be provided by the ENMU Friends of Music.
