PORTALES—The music department at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales will present a brass choir concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April
22 at Buchanan Hall inside the Music Building.
Featured works include "Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare" by Richard Strauss, "Largo" from Symphony "From the New World" by Anton Dvorak, "Sonata for
12 Voices" by G. Gabrielli, "Excerpts from The Planets" by Gustav Holst and "Overture to The Barber of Seville" by G. Rossini.
The University Brass Choir, comprised of music majors and non-music
majors, will also perform.
This is the ensemble's final concert this school year.
Admission is free and open to the public.
