PORTALES—The music department at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales is presenting a brass choir concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 in Buchanan Hall inside the Music Building.
The features will include “Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare” by Richard Strauss, “Largo” from Symphony “From the New World” by Anton Dvorak, “Sonata for 12 Voices” by G. Gabrielli, “Excerpts from The Planets” by Gustav Holst, and “Overture to The Barber of Seville” by G. Rossini.
The performance includes the University Brass Choir which is comprised of university student music majors and non-music majors.
This is the final concert for this ensemble for this school year.
Admission is free and open to the public.
