National Survey of Student Engagement

A sample of freshman and seniors.

When is it administered?
In the spring.

How long does it take for the student to complete the instrument?
15 minutes on the Web.

What type of information is sought?
The spring NSSE participants answer questions in five sections: level of academic challenge, active and collaborative learning, student-faculty interactions, enriching educational experiences and supportive campus environment.
