ENMU has developed a program for faculty, staff, and community members that supports individual efforts to enhance health, well-being, and quality of life.
The Lifelong Wellness program, a for-credit course, is designed to help you either start a physical activity program, increase the effectiveness of your current program, or develop your skills to expand physical activity into new areas.

Who Can Participate?
Local community members and ENMU faculty and staff who are interested in engaging in regular healthy activity are welcome to participate.
30 minutes of physical activity counts as one session, but can be spread over three 10 minute blocks. The goal for a 1 credit course is 32 sessions (two sessions per week), and the goal for a 2 credit course is 48 sessions (three seasons a week). The wellness program is recorded as satisfactory/unsatisfactory. This course is not available to ENMU students.
ENMU Employee Tuition Waiver
ENMU employees are allowed a tuition waiver for this program in addition to the one contracted for the employee tuition waiver.
What Qualifies as Physical Activity for This Program?
All planned physical activity qualifies. Planned exercise programs, LLW Senior classes, HPE activity classes or daily activities such as yard/housework all count!
Lifelong Wellness also provides access to on-campus facilities such as the Natatorium and the MaxPAC (Greyhound Arena).
When Can We Participate in This Program?
Participation is on your own time! Workouts are tracked on a spread sheet that is turned in at the end of the semester. For ENMU employees, an immediate supervisor's approval is required prior to enrolling in the course.
