Launch Experience

ENMU's vocal music program trains singing performers and prospective vocal and choral educators. To directly engage you, our academic experiences range from one-on-one studio lessons with voice faculty for music majors and non-majors to voice classes where students are taught proper techniques in singing in group class settings. Courses in vocal and choral literature, foreign language diction, choral conducting and methods, and vocal pedagogy round out the vocal curriculum. Scholarships are available if you qualify.

University Choirs

Our choral ensembles include University Singers, Chamber Singers and Swanee Singers. Our choirs perform a wide variety of repertoire from the 15th century to the present. You can expect to perform excellent choral repertoire with other highly talented musicians in five to six concerts per year. Other exciting experiences in which ENMU choir members participate include performing major works with state and regional orchestras, including the Santa Fe Symphony, Roswell Symphony and the Amarillo Symphony. The ENMU Choirs also tour yearly, both in-state and abroad, having recently completed performance tours to China, Europe and New York City.

View the Fine Arts Calendar for our next performances.

Alumni Choir

Dr. Jason Paulk, conductor

Dust off your vocal cords and come back to campus for a weekend of great music making and reconnect with all of your musical friends at Alumni Choir reunion. When you graduate from ENMU, you have the opportunity to continue performing and stay involved with music by participating in the Alumni Choir, which is hosted approximately every five years.
