Action Research Grants

Grants to Public School Teachers for In-Class Research
The Center for Teaching Excellence offers a unique opportunity for public school teachers to obtain financial support to conduct classroom research on teaching effectiveness and student learning. The purpose is to improve student learning by encouraging classroom teachers to conduct action research on innovative instructional strategies for their classrooms.

University Collaborator Application
The Center for Teaching Excellence promotes collaboration between public school teachers and university faculty by providing up to $400 for faculty who participate in public school Action Research Grants.

The Collaborator Application form is an addendum to the Action Research Grant application. It is to be completed by the University faculty member, in consultation with the public school teachers.
