* To meet New Mexico Public Education Department licensure requirements, you must have a concentration of 24 hours, with no fewer than 12 hours of upper-division courses in a subject matter area other than “gifted” that qualifies for an endorsement on an existing teaching license. This requirement is typically met within an undergraduate degree.
