Nursing is a diversified profession, offering opportunities for service, altruism, personal and professional fulfillment, advancement and success. Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing completion program (BSN), offered exclusively online, uses theoretical principles of nursing to enhance your critical thinking, natural curiosity, experiential awareness and enhanced clinical judgment. We know you’re busy and excited to start your career after college, so we offer eight-week courses, and our small classes size make professors more accessible.

Before you enter the BSN program, you first need to apply for ENMU admission and then apply to the nursing program. The RN to BSN completion program does not give you a RN license. A RN license is required for entry into this program.

Learning Format For BSN Completion Program Courses

Our BSN completion degree is designed to be completed 100% online; you’ll be completing assignments, readings, tests and projects throughout the semester. Recorded lectures via Mediasite will connect you with professors and other students on your own schedule, rather than during a specific time. As nursing becomes increasingly integrated with digital technology, we want to make sure you are prepared so we also use the programs Shadow Health Inc. and The Neighborhood in our teaching practices.

Advising for Nursing Majors

We know that college can be complicated and to stay on track, you might need some help. When you’re a nursing student at ENMU, we offer advising via phone or email and always include contact information for instructors on a class syllabi.

Nursing Program Resources and Academic Help

At ENMU, we want to make sure you get the help you need. We offer several tutoring services, including the Online Writing Center (OWL), which is exclusively for distance education students. The OWL is available to help you improve your writing and help you communicate clearly for written, school-related projects and assignments. We also have online databases, journal articles and eBooks accessible through the Golden Student Success Center. Since ENMU has a dedicated distance education librarian on staff, you’ll always have the help you need to take advantage of library resources.

If you run into questions or concerns about your nursing homework assignments, projects or grades you can always email or call your professor.

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

ENMU is committed to helping you finance your education. You can get information about admissions scholarships and find out why more than $22 million in financial assistance was awarded to ENMU students last year. Once you are an enrolled ENMU student, you’ll have access to even more scholarships, including scholarships specifically for nursing students. Contact our department for more information on nursing specific scholarships.
