When you complete the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree with a concentration in electronics engineering technology (EET) (analog), you gain advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electronics, communications, control, renewable energy, and circuits. The knowledge and hands-on experience you'll gain in this degree program, will equip you for a job with companies like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and ONCOR. Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and ONCOR. If you have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) with a technical or vocational major from a Council for Higher Education-recognized organization, we offer two concentration areas in electronics engineering technology as part of our BAAS program. The average time frame for completing a BAAS degree is two years.

Do I Qualify for This BAAS Program?

Our BAAS, Concentration in EET (Analog) will help you use your prior academic experience to complete your bachelor's degree.

You can enter our BAAS Program to earn your first bachelor's degree. To qualify you must have one of the following:

1. An Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from an institution with accreditation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
2. Have earned at least 30 credit hours in a career-technical related discipline from an institution with accreditation recognized by the CHEA.

Online Learning Format For Analog Electronics Engineering Technology Courses

Our BAAS electronic engineering degree program is designed to be completed 100% online, so you'll complete assignments, readings, labs, tests and projects throughout the semester. Recorded and live lectures via Mediasite and Canvas will connect you with professors and other students at your convenience, rather than during a specific time. In this program, you have the option to take all classes online or a combination of online and in-person. Our program is designed with the working professional in mind.

Career Opportunities in Electronics Engineering Technology (Analog)

Major companies like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and ONCOR have hired ENMU graduates in electronics engineering. Our students have been actively sought out for summer internships and jobs by ONCOR. Starting positions at ONCOR provide an excellent starting salary and financial contributions to graduate school. The bottom line is: we prepare you for life beyond college.

When you receive a BAAS degree with an analog electronics engineering technology concentration, dependent on the core upper-level EET courses you complete, you may pursue careers in: development, testing and maintenance of electrical and electronic circuits, the renewable energy technology industry, industries requiring PLC operation and programming or supervising and maintaining electronic equipment such as communication systems. Other benefits include new opportunities in management or a new career in a related field.
