Our Fire and Emergency Services Administration (FESA) concentration is a ten course curriculum designed to provide you with the fundamental leadership skills to prepare you for current and potential Fire and Emergency Services supervisory and management positions. Our program is geared for:
- Fire and EMS supervisors
- Managers
- Chief Officers
- Administrators
- State directors
- Training officers
- Instructors
The curriculum for this program includes six core courses developed by the National Fire Academy Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education Program.
Each BAAS degree requires you to have a primary concentration and a secondary concentration. If your career-technical credit takes care of your primary concentration area, then you'll take just 10 classes (30 hours) to earn your fire and emergency services administration BAAS degree at ENMU. If you are pursuing this concentration, you must have completed your primary concentration in a related field.
If you are a current or aspiring emergency services personnel wanting to advance your knowledge or career, we offer two concentration areas as part of our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS).
- Emergency Management (EMGT)
- Fire and Emergency Services (FESA)
Either of these concentration areas may be used to satisfy secondary concentration requirements for the BAAS. This program's flexibility, combined with the best elements of online teaching, is designed for practicing professionals and aspiring leaders.
Do I Qualify for This BAAS Program?
Our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science Fire and Emergency Services Concentration will help you use your prior academic experience to complete your bachelor's degree.
You can enter our BAAS Program to earn your first bachelor's degree. To qualify you must have one of the following:
- An Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from an institution with accreditation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Have earned at least 30 credit hours in a career-technical related discipline from an institution with accreditation recognized by the CHEA.

BAAS Concentration: Fire and Emergency Services
The BAAS program requires you to complete 120 hours to earn your bachelor's degree. Within those 120 hours, you must complete General Education Requirements, a primary concentration and a secondary concentration.
