Adding a Minor or Endorsement Area to Your Degree Plan

Choosing a minor or endorsement area provides you with a way to supplement and enhance the value of your major. Some degree programs require a minor and some don't. It just depends on how many courses are required for any given degree. Endorsement areas are like minors, except they are specifically for teaching degrees.

If you a distance learning student working on your degree from an off-campus location, you'll want to choose a minor or endorsement area that is compatible with your online learning format. Your academic advisor will help you choose the best minor choices for your degree and your situation.

Degree Plan Checklists

Undergraduate students must declare a major before or by the time they have completed 45 semester hours. Once you are an ENMU student, you will use CAPP, a program that helps you see all the classes you need to take to complete your degree. We do have some sample degree plans, though, that can give you an idea of what your degree plan might look like.
