Q: What kinds of online courses does ENMU offer?
The Distance Education and Outreach department has a list of online degrees offered at ENMU. If you have questions, email.

Q: What basic equipment/software do I need to take an online course?
You will need access to a modern computer with storage space and an Internet connection. Most courses require MS Word, Power point or Adobe Reader. Any additional requirements will be noted in the course syllabus.

Q: Can I get financial aid if I take online courses?
Yes. Financial aid is the same for all students, whether their classes are delivered face-to-face or at a distance. Please call 575.562.2194 if you need assistance with Financial aid.

Q: I've registered for an online class. What happens now?
You must log in to Blackboard and start the course. Blackboard is the program used at ENMU to deliver most online courses. Blackboard may be accessed through the MyENMU Portal. (Please be aware that it can take up to 24 hours for the registration system to process the course request into Blackboard.) Don't wait for your instructor to contact you. You are responsible for completing the work and interacting with the other students on your own. Be sure to note all due dates and test dates and follow all rules posted in the course. Read every page in your Blackboard course to be sure you haven't missed anything.

Q: How do I get a Blackboard account?
A Blackboard account is automatically created for all students at ENMU.

Q: How do I log in to my Blackboard account?
Students can access Blackboard through the MyENMU Portal or directly from the Current Students page. The Blackboard and Mediasite systems use the same network login information as the MyENMU Portal. All passwords must be changed in the MyENMU Portal.

Q: What if I don't know my network login?
Go to the website
Click on Student Account Activation
Read the Policies and check both boxes at the bottom of the page, then enter your information - Click on Submit.
Your information will appear on the next page after you submit the form. For additional assistance with Network logins, contact the ITS Helpdesk at 575.562.4357.
