Blackboard Login and Password
At ENMU we use Blackboard, a computer program, to deliver online courses. The first thing you'll need to do, after you've been accepted to the University and registered for classes, is to activate your electronic accounts. This will activate your e-mail account. In most online classes, you are required to use your ENMU e-mail account for correspondence.
The Blackboard Learn system uses the network (email) login as the username and the ENMU ID number as the password. (For instance, if my name is Edwina Gardinier and my email network login is "gardinie3", I would use gardinie3 as the username. I would use my ENMU ID number as the password to login.)
What if I don’t know my network (email) login?
Go to the http://itsweb.enmu.edu website
Click on Student Account Activation
Read the Policies and check both boxes at the bottom of the page, then enter your information – Click on Submit. Your information will appear on the next page after you submit the form.
Is your computer ready for Blackboard?
To log in:
- Go to the ENMU home page.
- Under the Current Students menu, click on Blackboard.
- Log in to your class.
- Select the ‘Browser Test’ tab located on the top right of the Blackboard page.
Online class information should be available two weeks before traditional classes start meeting. You might also want to call your professor. Professors may be out of their offices during interim periods between semesters, until a few days before the class starts.
Blackboard Help Desk
If you need help with Wimba, Blackboard or Email, please call 562-4999 or use our toll free number: 877-755-ENMU. Listen for the correct prompt.
Blackboard assistance is available Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Signing up for E-Mail
Every student at ENMU is given an e-mail account. Your address will be first.lastname@enmu.edu, such as john.doe@enmu.edu. Click to set up your e-mail account and all electronic accounts (such as Blackboard), then read and follow the directions. After you agree to follow the policy, you will be asked for some information, and then you'll be given your login and password.
