ENMU's bachelor of applied arts and sciences program offers a flexible online degree option for you if you've earned an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences degree or have a significant number of credit hours in a career-related or technical discipline from an institution with accreditation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
This degree requires a minimum of 30 hours of career-related or technical credit in a primary concentration (previously earned career-related or technical course credits are applied here) and minimum of 24 hours in a secondary concentration area. Each BAAS degree plan requires a student to have a primary concentration and a secondary concentration. Your vocational/technical credit applies to your primary concentration area, and this program is designed to allow you to earn your bachelor's degree within two years of full-time enrollment.
Do Classes I Already Took Count Toward my Degree?
If you have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) with a technical or vocational major from a CHEA-recognized organization, you already meet the primary concentration requirement for this program. If you don't have one of those degrees, but you've completed a certificate program (minimum 30 hours) or if you have a significant amount of credit in one of the transfer disciplines, you may be able to transfer this credit to satisfy the primary concentration requirement. Contact us today if you have questions.
