Miss Native American Application
Checklist
The application process requires submitting the following items to the Miss Native American ENMU Pageant Committee:
- Miss Native American ENMU Application-which consist of:
- Official Entry Application
- Contemporary Talent/Skill information
- Traditional Talent/Skill Information
- Contestant Agreement
- A Display of 2 current photographs (1 Contemporary and 1 Traditional) presented on a Poster Board. (Needs to be approved by October 24, 2008)
- Please note: The photographs are required for participation in the Miss Photogenic 2008-2009 competition.
- Certification of Indian Blood or Tribal Affiliation (CIB). Need a copy.
- Proof of Age (Driver’s License or Identification). Need a copy.
- One Letter of Recommendation (examples: Faculty, staff member, previous employer or peer).
- Application deadline is Oct. 17, 2008.
Contestants will compete in the Following Categories:
- Orientation with Native American Affairs Office (Oct. 24, 2008)
- Public Speaking Competition
- Explain Outfit either Traditional OR Contemporary outfit.
- Talent competition
- Traditional Talent OR Contemporary Talent
Requirements:
- Native American Woman Between the ages of 18-25
- Be at least ¼ Native American, and have a CIB number
- Not Married and have no children
- Full-time ENMU Student
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better
