HoundBytes is an online publication addressing the latest controversial issues facing college students today. This publications was initially created as a class project for Computer-Assisted Journalism, COMM 403, in fall 1999. Since then, HoundBytes has grown from a class project to a student-run publication, funded by student fees money. Articles written for HoundBytes are solicited from students who want to gain experience and have their work published. HoundBytes is not maintained as part of a class, though some articles may be solicited from communication classes.
