BA or BS in Communication, Emphasis in Broadcast Production

A Bachelor of Science or Arts in Communication with an emphasis in broadcast production at ENMU equips students to excel in the field of broadcast production.

Studying broadcast media at ENMU teaches you the essential skills required for working in both television and web-based environments. You receive additional training to prepare you for new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in this dynamic field.

Students seeking a bachelor's degree in communication, emphasizing broadcast production at ENMU receive one-on-one attention from professors. Additionally, they have the opportunity to work with professional studio equipment during their very first semester of coursework. All students get hands-on experiences, including the opportunity to work for KENW-TV. Practicum experiences, designed to give students a taste of working in their chosen field, are built into the program.

Courses include: Audio Production, Television Production, Editing, documentary writing, and Production, Directing for Television.

Students have the opportunity to work with The Chase (student newspaper), HoundBytes (online magazine), KENW-TV, and other podcasts and productions. You can also get involved in other on-campus organizations and offices.
