How much is the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?

The Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship covers tuition, fees and residence hall charges. In addition, it includes a $700 award per year. The annual total for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship is approximately $6,200 per year. (Annual tuition, fees, and residence hall charges total approximately $5,500. Annual awards received are based on actual tuition, fees and residence hall charges for a double room.)

What are the eligibility requirements for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?

The Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship is for incoming freshmen who meet the following requirements:

  • New Mexico resident
  • New Mexico high school graduate in the semester preceding the first semester of attendance
  • 3.0 GPA and ACT composite of 27 (1260 SAT)
  • 3.5 GPA and ACT composite of 25 (1180 SAT)

How can I be considered for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?

By March 17, make sure you’re fully admitted to ENMU and have a Green and Silver
Presidential Scholarship Application on file.

When will I be notified if I received the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?

If you are selected for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship, you will be notified no later than April 15. ENMU will award a maximum of 10 Green and Silver Presidential Scholarships each year.

What are the requirements for continuing to receive the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?

  • First year (fall, spring semesters): Complete 12 hours per semester with a 3.0 GPA.
  • Second and subsequent years: Complete 15 hours per semester with a 3.2 GPA.
  • Students must meet eligibility requirements for the New Mexico Lottery Success Scholarship.

Instructions to Applicant

To be considered for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship, complete the following by the scholarship deadline of March 17 for the fall semester.

  1. Be fully admitted by March 17: www.enmu.edu/apply
  2. Have a Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship application on file by March 17
  3. Be a New Mexico resident and a New Mexico high school graduate
  4. Enroll full-time directly out of high school

Note: To receive the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship, you must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file. Tuition portion of this award is funded by the N.M. Lottery Success Scholarship and ENMU Starter (bridge) Scholarship.
