How much is the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?
The Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship covers tuition, fees and residence hall charges. In addition, it includes a $500 award per semester. The annual total for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship is approximately $7,600 per year. (Annual tuition, fees, and residence hall charges total approximately $6,600. Annual awards received are based on actual tuition, fees and residence hall charges for a double room.)
What are the eligibility requirements for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?
The Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship is for incoming freshmen who meet the following requirements:
- New Mexico resident
- New Mexico high school graduate in the semester preceding the first semester of attendance
- 3.0 GPA and ACT composite of 27 (1210 SAT Critical Reading and Math)
- 3.5 GPA and ACT composite of 25 (1130 SAT Critical Reading and Math)
How can I be considered for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?
By March 11, make sure you’re fully admitted to ENMU and have a Green and Silver
Presidential Scholarship Application on file.
When will I be notified if I received the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?
If you are selected for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship, you will be notified no later than April 15. ENMU will award a maximum of 10 Green and Silver Presidential Scholarships each year.
What are the requirements for continuing to receive the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship?
- First year (fall, spring semesters): Complete 12 hours per semester with a 3.0 GPA.
- Second and subsequent years: Complete 15 hours per semester with a 3.2 GPA.
- Students must meet eligibility requirements for the New Mexico Lottery Success Scholarship.
- Scholarships can be continued up to 8 semesters.
Instructions to Applicant
To be considered for the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship, complete the following by the scholarship deadline of March 11 for the fall semester.
- Be fully admitted by March 11: www.enmu.edu/apply
- Have a Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship application on file by March 11
- Be a New Mexico resident and a New Mexico high school graduate
- Enroll full-time directly out of high school
Note: To receive the Green and Silver Presidential Scholarship, you must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file. Tuition portion of this award is funded by the N.M. Lottery Success Scholarship and ENMU Starter (bridge) Scholarship.
