Information Technology Services provides resources and consulting services that enable ENMU students, faculty and staff to make maximum use of information technology tools in their learning, teaching, research, outreach, administration and support activities. Information Technology Services includes these areas:

The ITS administrative office provides overall management and support for the Information technology services and telecommunications departments, secretarial support, staff and procurement. The office is responsible for monitoring virus protection and computer system updates for the campus, maintains the content information on the ITS web pages and acts as the information center for the department. ENMU faculty and staff have access to Microsoft products for free use at home through our Microsoft Campus Agreement (MCA). The administrative office also fulfills requests for network access, email, Banner and personal web pages.
Client Support is in charge of maintaining all of the academic and administrative computing environments including labs, smart classrooms and student network resources (ResLan).
Computer Use Policy
All staff, faculty and students must adhere to the University Computer Use Policies and Procedures. Failure to abide by the guidelines in the policy shall subject any user of the University computer system to sanctions, which may result in denial of computer account privileges, and/or disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion from the University, dismissal from a position or legal action.
ITS requires forms for access to the ENMU network, banner administrative system, web pages and telephones. These forms can be found online or by calling 575.562.4352.
The ITSsystems area is responsible for the creation of computer access accounts which allow for the individual student or staff/faculty member to access the ENMU network, as well as the internet. The University provides staff and faculty members with employee email accounts and personal data storage folders. These are backed up to tape for safe keeping.
The ITS technical trainer provides training and resources for ENMU faculty, staff and students. Resources include videos, documents, and guides on a variety of topics such as how to activate a free copy of Office 365, how to connect an email account to a mobile device.
