  1. If you are stationed in New Mexico, fill out the Military Waiver form (should be signed by your squadron commander). For information about the Military Waiver, contact [email protected] or call 800.FOR.ENMU (800.367.3668).
  2. Provide transcripts. Although not required for admission, official copies of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended are needed for proper advising and course placement. Official transcripts may also be required to determine financial aid eligibility. (see more about sending a transcript to ENMU)
  3. Complete your FAFSA application (Eastern's FAFSA school code is 002651).
  4. Check out available scholarships for veterans/military service members and families.
  5. Provide any Tuition Assistance paperwork. Tuition Assistance is a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. Congress has given each service the ability to pay up to 100% for the tuition expenses (NOT fees) of its members. Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, application process and restrictions. This money is usually paid directly to ENMU. If you plan on using tuition assistance, you'll need to bring a copy of your approved tuition assistance documentation to the ENMU Office of Student Accounts, Administration Building (AD), Room 114, so we can apply it to your account.

Because Tuition Assistance is not authorized to apply toward mandatory fees, ENMU offers an Active Duty Military Scholarship to offset the cost of our mandatory fees. Active duty service members are automatically awarded this scholarship as long as the Financial Aid Office is aware of their Active Duty status. Contact the Financial Aid office for more information.

You can also fax your Tuition Assistance documentation to 575.562.2428 or mail to:
