Job Summary: The Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area (USDA – Forest Service) is advertising to fill a permanent full-time Public Affairs Specialist, GS-1035-09/11 position within our Communications Department. The Position will be filled at the 9/11 level and only one position is being filled. The annual salary ranges from $40,949 to $64,403.

Qualifications:

Duties: Duties of the position involve serving as the Public Affairs Specialist as part of the Communications Department team. The incumbent will provide writing skills and serve to develop communication and marketing plans and assist with community relations. This position is a non-supervisory position. The incumbent will serve as a Contracting Officer Representative for various small Communication Department office equipment contracts. The position will be based in Golden Pond, KY.
