Job Summary: The Lassen National Forest plans to fill its Civil Right Officer position. This position provides guidance and technical assistance regarding civil rights and equal employment opportunity on the forest. Incumbent is responsible for the implementation of appropriate regulations, management directions and policy regarding nondiscrimination. They assist managers in the resolution of informal employment and program delivery complaints. They conduct fact finding and analysis work in a variety of discrimination complaints and work environment issues. Incumbent conducts outreach internally and externally to build a competent and diverse workforce that reflects the public that we serve. This position reports to the Forest Supervisor and is a member of the Forest Leadership Team.
