Job Summary: The Central Arizona College is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Human Resource Services. This position reports to the Vice President for Human Resources and is responsible for management of the Districts’ formal classification program, employee records management, employment services, personnel pay system activities, and a high level of participation in the employee recommendations carry significant impact in the development and change of policy, procedure and daily operations of the District.

Qualifications: Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s degree highly desired. Must have two years direct experience in a human resources operation in a supervisory role. Experience in higher education is highly desired. Must have technical automation skills, effective communication skills, knowledge of classification systems, employment processes, and a responsible employment history.

Duties: Manage the District’s formal exempt and non-exempt classification and compensation programs to include evaluating new positions, re-evaluating current positions, and managing the District position audit program. Coordinate and prepare position descriptions, and evaluations; facilitate funding matters with the Budget Office and department as appropriate.
