Job Summary: Plains Middle School is a campus that serves 135 5th – 8th grade students in a West Texas town of 1,500 citizens approximately 70 miles Southwest of Lubbock. The campus is a TEA Recognized campus, and has held that designation or Recognized designation every year since 1994. Plains Middle School has a long history of meeting the varied needs of our students in ways that allow them to excel. If you have skills, knowledge, and desire to continue that tradition, then we want you on our staff.

Plains Middle School in Plains, Texas is currently accepting applications for the position of Middle School Science Teacher. Coaching may also be part of this position.

Qualifications: The strong candidate will have appropriate Texas Teaching Certification (or eligibility), and “highly qualified” designation under NCLB legislation. Previous middle school experience is preferred but not required.
