Job Summary: Enterprise Technical Services is a Forest Service Enterprise Unit providing engineering and related technical services to public land agencies throughout the United States and the world. We are experts in engineering and related services that require specific technical certifications difficult for Forest Service units to fund or maintain within their staff, such as bridge inspectors, contracting officer representatives (COR), and structural engineers. Enterprise Technical Services operates much like a private engineering consulting firm, in that we receive no appropriated program dollars directly; rather we market to clients inside and outside the Forest Service, secure work orders and interagency agreements and complete the work to meet out client’s needs. The people selected will demonstrate a high degree of skill and experience in civil engineering as well as the ability to manage projects independently and provide outstanding customer service.
