Job Summary: Pasco School District is looking for a qualified applicant to fill the posistion of a Social Studies Teacher at Pasco High School for the 2012-2013 school year.
Qualifications: Required
Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
Ability to teach remedial and honors class
Ability to work independently and manage mulitple priorities and deadlines
Demonstrated organizational ability, punctuality and exceptional work attnedance record
Ability to work a flexible teaching schedule
Ability to participate in required trainings
Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary planning, curriculum design and evaluation
Ability to work with instructional coach
Willingness to team and collaborate with other teachers
Ability to meet Highly Qualified teacher definition
Desired
Previous successful classroom teaching experience at the secondary level
Bilingual/Biliterate English/Spanish
Knowledge/literacy of computers
Willingness to be involved with student activites or athletics
