Job Summary: The candidate for this position will be considered the Distributed Mission Operations Center's subject matter expert for the operational and tactical use of C4I system within a synthetic battlespace supporting warfighter exercises. The candidate will provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) expertise to the Air Force and other Joint/Coalition participants in a modeling and simulation environment. Candidate must be experienced in the operation and administration duties of the following systems: Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS), Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) and Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS). Candidate must demonstrate an advanced understanding of Linux and Microsoft operating systems. The candidate will routinely interface with the government, technical contractors and military personnel training internally and connecting externally simultaneously.



He/she must be capable of formulating courses of action to integrate C4I systems into a Live, Virtual and Constructive environment and coordinate with warfighter training objectives and technical requirements. Be capable of top level operational design and implementation of an architecture for injecting computer generated forces into applicable C4I systems. Provide guidance, recommendations and support to the 705 CTS for improving product quality, fidelity and proper representation during each exercise.



Candidate will be able to provide background instruction, limited exercise participation as C4I SME, and provide additional support to Common Operational Picture (COP) manager on an as needed basis. Candidate will support the Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) in creating a comprehensive and realistic COP for 705 CTS exercises.

Qualifications: Degree Requirements
MS (Applied Statistics, Ops Research, Mathematics or related discipline) with 3 years experience, BS in same fields with 5 years relevant operational experience, or no degree with 10 years relevant operational experience.

Relevant Experience
Military service related experience conducting mission skill sets as outlined in the responsibilities and duties.

Prefered
CompTia A+ and or CompTia Security+ are highly desired.
Operational understanding of the LINK 16 tactical data exchange network is a plus.
Previous experience with JCATS, FireSim, NGTS, DICE or EADSIM is a plus.

Additional Information
Individual will support many mission sets and must have a dynamic thought process for problem solving and flexibility for mission/objective creep. Maintaining relative currency will be a challenge and the individual must be capable of self training within his/her area of expertise.
Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
