Job Summary: Oversee entire back-end workload for TL’s Digital Unit. Developing and programming solutions for the business unit. Manages a team of developers in order to handle the department’s priorities and challenges. Has input on all visual solutions in order to ensure consistency across digital platforms and alignment with departmental goals. Manages relationships with NBC, partners, and vendors and provides strategic input in technical purchasing decisions
Qualifications: 5 years familiarity with Velocity and Mobile environments. 5 years proficiency in HTML, PHP, Javascript, and CSS among others. Advanced understanding of DoubleClick’s DFP and 3rd party validation vendors. Basic understanding of back end ad server framework. Experience supervising teams, meeting challenging deadlines, and building new content structures. Bilingual English/Spanish

Must be willing to submit to a background investigation. Must be 18 years or older. Undergraduate degree, preferably in journalism, communications, political science or Spanish. Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Strong team manager with excellent strategic problem solving skills. Excellent design and UX skills. Extremely detailed and results-driven. Expertise in Google Analytics and other metric-measurement methods and services. Familiarity with Broadcast TV environment. Must have the desire to work in a creative, demanding, and competitive environment
