Job Summary: Responsible for SNG/D-ENG acquisition, recording and play-out of feeds from servers and/or tape. Monitor inbound and outbound video/audio levels. The candidate should have knowledge of multi format videotape machines, Pro-Bel Morpheus ingest systems, Bitcentral Servers, Vertex Satellite Antenna Controllers, IRD’s, Quintech RF routers, Troll Microwave acquisition systems, and Sony/Ikegami Cameras. Ingest and quality check commercials and programs content.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications The individual must have a minimum of 3 years broadcast experience. The applicant must be able to multi task and work in a group environment serving two television stations simultaneously.

Must be willing to submit to a background investigation. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License. Must be 18 years or older. Must have computer skills including proficiency in iNews (or other electronic newsroom application) and Microsoft Outlook. Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Desired Bachelors degree or equivalent from a broadcast technical school. Knowledge of satellite acquisition including digital and analog receivers. Experience in camera video set up and shading. Experience in D-SNG and D-ENG field operation. Vinten Robotic camera control operation. Audio experience. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
