Job Summary: NBC 17 in Raleigh is looking for a dynamic storyteller who excels at enterprise reporting, commands extended live breaking news coverage and lives to own the lead story. Must be a strong writer who is able to deliver outstanding content on multiple platforms everyday. The reporter should have a polished live presentation, strong storytelling skills and some experience on the anchor desk.
Qualifications: The right candidate is a self-starter who will come to story meetings with lead story ideas and knows how to work "beats." This is includes the ability to develop strong relationships with contacts that would lead to unique, hyper- local stories.
Candidates for this position MUST be strong writers and have the ability to operate digital video cameras and use non-linear editing equipment and software.
Duties: You will be responsible for all broadcast and web content and social media networking. . The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
