Qualifications: Degree Requirements:
Associate's Degree required. Education requirement can be substituted with 3 years experience training UL/UC2.
Relevant Experience (amount and type):
Three (3) years military experience (USAF preferred) using UL/UC2 or TBMCS-UL Ops applications and hardware configurations.
Three (3) years of Air Force operational command and control experience.
Four (4) years training management, classroom instruction and on-the-job training experience.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and public speaking experience.
Demonstrated proficiency using unclassified (NIPRNet) and classified (SIPRNet) network enterprise environments and office automation software to include Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Experience supporting C2 operations within unclassified and classified environments.
Ability to operate UL/UC2 (IIMS, RMA, PEX) and configure a UL/UC2 system for training and demonstration of these capabilities.
Duties: Provide training to wing Unit Level Command and Control Operations (UL/UC2 OPS) operators and provide operational and technical expertise support to wing leadership regarding implementation and operational employment of the system throughout the wing. Provide formal and on-the-job-training (OJT), readiness inspection and exercise support, and application/process support to wing ULIUC2 OPS users.
Conduct UL/UC2 operations in support of wing and unit staff. Apply UL/UC2 OPS capabilities to daily operational missions, inspections, and training events.
Develop location-specific ULIUC2 OPS Training Plans, ULIUC2 OPS Lesson Plans, Training Outlines and Training Support Material (i.e., slides, handouts, etc.). These documents may be classified or unclassified.
Develop and conduct monthly UL/UC2 OPS Initial and Refresher Training Courses to location personnel. These courses may be classified or unclassified. Training shall include: (1) Operations and use of the system and applications (base installed system and deployment kit); (2) Scenario based training; (3) Evaluation and certification; (4) Basic system account set up and maintenance actions.
Plan and conduct training/instruction in coordination with the site representatives.
Prepare necessary training materials such as detailed plans of instruction, master schedules, and course content materials including student guides and instructor guides, for the instruction of assigned personnel. Provide materials as nonproprietary items to Government customer representatives; reproducing materials as necessary for effective training with emphasis on electronic media. These materials may be classified or unclassified.
Coordinate training requirements with local on-site representatives, including planning and instructional content. Address training focus according to needs identified by HQ ACC/A30X.
Conduct training (classified or unclassified) for users and training cadre personnel at local site or conduct authorized travel for support to other CONUS locations as directed by ACC.
Maintain UL/UC2 Ops applications documentation, notices, and other related data, and integrate into local unit training activities. Maintain current library of installed ULIUC2 Ops systems, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) documentation, load software users manuals, version description documents, and similar materials. These materials may be classified or unclassified.
Ensure operational capability and accountability of the base-specific UL/UC2 OPS training equipment suite and lab/classroom equipment.
Participate as a member of the Wing Exercise Evaluation Team (WEET) to prepare wing operational activities for exercises and inspections as directed by wing UL/UC2 OPS POC.
Provide "Trusted Agent" support and/or technical expertise during Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI), Unit Readiness Inspections (URI), exercises, tests and experiments.
Provide system overview and capabilities orientation briefings to senior leaders and personnel.
Assist wing and unit leaders and personnel with incorporating UL/UC2 OPS capabilities into daily operations to enhance operational and support requirements.
Assist wing and w1it leaders with the development of local policies and operating instructions regarding the use of ULIUC2 Ops.
Provide input on taskers, requirements, concepts, and data calls as requested by HQ ACC/A30X.
Participate as operational testers and evaluators during Operational Test and Evaluations
(OT&E) as directed by HQ ACC/A30X.
Attend Government-sponsored UL/UC2 OPS follow-on applications refresher and/or upgrade training at designated locations.
