Job Summary: Study and analyze different technologies and energy efficiency methods beneficial for agricultural members. Summer Internship Opportunity.

Duties: CVE wants someone to work on determinging better applications for the farmers in the area that will help not only with energy efficiency, but with demand reduction. Students would be visiting farms and farmers to help learn current practices while studying newer technologies that benefit the memeber and the cooperative.
Students will determine potential incentives for helping members consider switching their applications to more economical situations. This will include evaluating current and new irrigation options.
Student would need to have excellent computer skills, capable of drawing valid conclusions, physically able to lift, walk, bend, and stand for periods of time. Students must be able to speak with members about feasible conversation options and access materials that include safe and efficient use of electricity.
The employment period would begin in the middle of May through the middle of August of 2013.
All other employment requirements must be met. Formal interviews will be held, requirements discussed, and job descriptions will be reviewed upon hire.
