Job Summary:
Qualifications: Five years related experience and/or training; Master's degree from an accredited university, preferably in an academic area related to assignment. The employee must possess the ability to supervise multiple programs and the knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations as they apply to higher education. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Duties: The Dean for Career and Technical personnel, and operations of selected career/technical programs as requiredfor the smooth and efficient functioning of the Division to ensure high quality programs of instruction. Manages employess in the division and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsiblities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, complaints and resolving problems. Develops and maintains high quality career and technical programs. Evaluates and monitors all aspects of the programs including faculty and staff.
