Job Summary:
Qualifications: Prefer candidates with minimum 3 years experience as a commercial TV news producer.
Successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent writing and story telling skills that utilize contemporary television production techniques.
College degree in related field preferred.
Duties: Oversee the complete preparation of a specific news program, including news writing and coordinating with the executive producer, assignment editor, reporters and production staff.
Coordinate the program in the control room.
Contribute ideas and stories to the daily news effort.
Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
Produce other newscasts as directed.
Write for other newscast as directed.
