Job Summary: EPCOR Water (USA) Inc. is recruiting for a Lab Technician in our Clovis, NM office. EPCOR Water provides clean water and wastewater services, and safe, reliable power to the places in which we live and work. EPCOR Water New Mexico provides high quality and reliable water and related services to approximately 60,000 people in New Mexico.
Qualifications: This position requires an Associate’s degree in Biology and 3-5 years’ experience in an environmental lab as well as strong knowledge of basic chemistry, lab techniques and water quality standards. Requires advanced computer skills in Word and Excel. Also requires strong customer service and telephone skills as well as excellent verbal and communication skills and problem resolution skills.
Duties: This position is responsible to analyze water samples and run our water quality laboratory, conducting basic chemical analysis for chemical and microbiological testing of water samples. Ensure data generated meets EPA and accrediting authority standards and lab requirements.
