Job Summary: Responsible for delivery and supervision of resident care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Supervises direct resident care personnel. Prepares and maintains records and reports as required. OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Class I.
Qualifications: Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Personal Job-Related Skills
Knowledge of nursing theories and practices, leadership and management abilities, and effective oral and written communication skills.
Licensure, Registry or Certification
Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas required.
Experience
One year of nursing in long-term care or a related field is desirable.
