Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Manufacturing Technology or equivalent
Ability to be flexible and adapt to a dynamic working environment and diverse team
Flexibility in work location, ability to travel, work overtime, and holidays when required
Duties: Emphasis on delivery and continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity
Interface with Suppliers and Product Engineering
Responsible for equipment procurement Run-off equipment per Ford Specifications at supplier and plant to validate capability and robustness including safety
Ensure production systems meet all objectives through R&M, Process Design and FMEA's
Develop plans for machine tryout parts (MTO) parts - cost, quantity, location of build, quality, etc.
Lead Simo Engineering with supplier and plant/staff
Support QS 9000 and ISO 14000, PPAP and APQP processes
Support appropriate Six Sigma projects Interface with plant personnel with appropriate timing and installation documentation, to ensure efficient/timely installation and validation
Use Lessons learned to develop program studies and improve standard Bill of Processes
