Job Summary: Assist Facilities Director and Associate Facilities Director with the Residential site maintenance, enhancement and development of all MHCD and Sabin facilities presently owned and operated throughout the City and County of Denver to maintain the properties in a safe, clean and healthy manner.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management or minimum 5 years equivalent working experience.
Duties: Assist with capital budget development for renovating and upkeep of all residential properties. Oversee remodel renovation and construction process in existing facilities and the development of new residential facilities. Assist in the operations and maintenance of all residential facilities. Develop PM schedules for all properties. Coordinate duties to ensure safe, clean and healthy facilities. Assist with all aspects of the janitorial requirements for all residential facilities to ensure proper cleanliness and housekeeping. Primary function would be to advise outside management contracts. Assist in maximizing comfort and working condition in all facilities by keeping all heating and air-conditioning in good operating condition. Oversee the administration of outside contracts in accordance with MHCD’s facility goals and objectives. Responsible for the security at all residential locations, including alarms, panic buttons, surveillance cameras, entry systems, etc. Coordinate with architect and engineer consultants on various residential projects. Ensure proper and current insurance is available on all residential properties. Stay current on all fire, state, city and HUD physical condition regulations and ensure properties are up to said regulations. Attend all REAC and compliance inspections at residential sites as required by funders or regulating authorities. Performs other duties as assigned.
