Summary: The telecommunications area is seeking two or three individuals who can work between the hours of 8:00 – 5:00, M-F for Spring 2013 term and future semesters.

Qualifications: Ability to write and speak using proper English; ability to follow written and oral instructions; enjoys working with the public and is interested in learning more about Telecommunications
Duties: Basic duties include, but are not limited to picking up and delivering telephone equipment, aid the Telecommunications Technicians in installing, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading the telephone, and computer network systems. The job includes manual labor such as digging, lifting and pulling. The students work in a variety of work environments including offices, basements, attics, outdoors in all weather conditions and in locations that are restricted in space or ventilation and may involve loud noise or vibration. The assistants complete minor installations and repairs with minimal supervision. They report directly to the Telecommunications Technicians.
