An Academic Competitiveness Grant provides $750 for the first year of study and $1,300 for the second year.
Note: The amount of the ACG, when combined with a Pell Grant, may not exceed the student's cost of attendance. The list provided below is a brief overview of the necessary criterion a student must possess in order to receive the Academic Competitive Grant (ACG). This is just a general list of qualifying criterion and is in no way a comprehensive list of all requirements.
If you have questions about whether or not you qualify for the ACG feel free to see the 2009-10 Funding Education Beyond High School – The Guide to Federal Student Aid for a complete requirements listing, or contact Betty Dever for more information.
